Well, it has been a while since I blogged. A. L-O-N-G while! Finding the time is hard and probably will never get any easier, so I thought why not give it another try anyway!
Well, I cant believe it is 2014! Time truly seems to be going at warp speed! I am going to try real hard to soak up each moment this year and not let time just pass me by.
2014 is going to be an exciting year for our family. We finally have movement in our adoption of our son, Nathan, from Guatemala after a 6 1/2 year journey of fighting to bring him home. We have been trying to adopt him since he was 2 weeks old and he will be 7 in June! There are no words to describe how this has rocked our world. There are not enough words to describe our excitement along with lots of other emotions. We are praying the final steps go quickly and smoothly so we can bring him home as soon as possible. We will have to make one trip before we are able to travel and bring him home. Prayers for our family are greatly appreciated!
With that being said, the first of the year may be a little crazy here at S. Allums photography as we try to balance life with this new development. Once he is home, I will be limiting my session times until we are all adjusted and in a normal routine. As of right now, I am booking as normal.
January 19th is my business anniversary. I have been blessed with amazing clients who have entrusted me to photograph their families for the past 3 years. I am planning to do a giveaway to celebrate the anniversary. Look for more info to be coming soon on the giveaway.
Thank you all for your support of S. Allums photography. It is such an honor when you choose me to capture your life for you.
I hope everyone's 2014 is off to a good start and I look forward to serving you all this year!
Blessings,
Stephanie
